Lessons are booked monthly and payments are on a monthly basis.

Invoice is generated one week earlier and it's due on the 1st day of each month.

  

At the end of each month, Students will be assessed by the teacher to evaluate their progression for the past term.

If a student cannot make a lesson, they must give 24 hours' notice,  we will try to re-schedule another time that same week but the timing depends on what space we have between other students.

There can be only one make-up for missed lesson,  Further missed lessons, will be charged unless you have pre-arranged a break in the lessons as you will be away.

If you have a pre-planned vacation or break or an exam, please let us know about this at least one week ahead so that we can re-schedule your lesson.

Academy is open on long weekends ( Mondays) as well as other holidays except Christmas and New Year. If you have ay plans for the holidays you need to inform us earlier so we can set a make up lesson for you in next week or saturday.

In terms of Teacher absence, the academy will keep having lessons on with a teacher substitution and if they were not available, will offer another time spot. If a student couldn't attend the proposed time, the academy will credit that session to the next month's payment.

If you are considering canceling a lesson because you did not have time to practice that week please do not think that the lesson may be a waste of time.  We can accomplish a lot working on the pieces from the previous week together and still learn something new.  And remember -  Mermi Music Academy cares about you and never makes a student feel guilty or stressed that they have not practiced.    

 

However, your success depends on being consistent. In order to achieve your goal of becoming a better musician, you must practice between lessons.
