Playing Music is not just about playing the notes. Music to me is a way of communicating love and passion as well as the deep true feelings inside the player’s heart. The first step of performing music is to understand how to convey emotion with the notes and use musical dynamics such as tempo, rhythm, and tone. A true musician makes the music come alive with feeling.
About Us
Mermi Music Academy embarked upon the success of its founder, Mermi Vosough, who has over 15 years of teaching experience and 30 years of music experience.
She graduated in Music Education from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and was honored with Royal Conservatory Music Teacher Certification. Mermi Music Academy is located in a modern commercial building in North Vancouver.
Mermi Music Academy’s mission is to provide the highest quality of learning music experience for learners in Vancouver, BC. Toward that end, teachers are supported by Mermi Music academy’s Peer Mentorship Program (PMP) to personalize teaching according to the students’ needs and passions.
